Frequently Asked Questions
What is Hopestream?
Hopestream’s genesis began from a passion project I started after my son struggled for years with a high-risk lifestyle and addiction – culminating in two fentanyl overdoses in three days.
I had an intense desire to prevent other parents from experiences I endured, and began a podcast and online community for moms in early 2020. In 2021, Cathy Cioth, a community member and impacted parent, joined me to grow the organization and serve more families.
Can you help me find a treatment center or therapist for my child?
No, because I’m not qualified for that level of specialized work. While my role introduces me to numerous amazing programs and individuals, it takes a highly trained and unique person to work with you and find the most appropriate level of care and therapeutic team for your child.
I recommend visiting the Therapeutic Consulting Association website to search for a qualified consultant to work with your family. You can also find more resources at Hopestreamcommunity.org/resources.
Do you do private coaching?
At this time my efforts are 100% dedicated to Hopestream and I’m no longer taking private coaching clients. Members of The Stream, our private online community for moms and female caregivers have access to a curated list of coaches and receive member discounts on their rates.
Are you available to speak?
Yes, please contact me through the Contact link here if you’d like to talk about having me speak at your event, podcast or group.
